I believe that the first step to fixing communication problems is admitting there's a problem in the first place because acting like everything is going well has never fixed anything. Once the problem is acknowledged then you can start working on finding solutions to a problem.

So what are some poor communication problems?

These are 3 common COMMUNICATION  problems and their solutions:

Problem - The organization has some important documents or information hidden under multiple different emails and online accounts so it becomes a daunting task trying to find and access them

Solution  - Instead of using emails the organization should move onto the new age project management software to share vital information. Emails are a thing of the past!

Problem - Bad communication between distributed teams on a project because of poor response time to emails and lack of face to face meetings.

Solution - Teams should make use of new technology collaboration tools such as Slack and Basecamp and to communicate in real-time and teams that are abroad on different time-zones can set their notifications to alert them as soon as they wake up.

Problem - Teams are communicating through too many different channels so vital information gets missed out on.

Solution - The management need to decide on one channel of communication and should stick to it. They should force the forwarding of communication to correct chosen channel in case of workers sending elsewhere.

These are just some of the communication problems that may arise between teams within a given project.
